Who are the Friends of Comanche Lookout?

  • The Friends of Comanche Lookout is a volunteer citizens group dedicated to preserving and improving Comanche Lookout Park.  Our belief is that every park needs Friends -- the Park requires regular attention and effort to thrive as an asset to our neighborhoods.
  • We meet regularly with representatives from the Parks and Recreation Department, the Park Police, and our District 10 city councilman to share our concerns, provide suggestions for future improvements, and stay current on city projects that affect the Park, the Semmes Library, and District 10.
  • The Friends is a completely informal organization.  We have no officers, budget, bylaws, or membership dues.  If you're interested, have a question or complaint, come sit in on a meeting and speak up--that's all it takes to be a Friend.  If you can't make the meetings, but would like to get in touch, email us at friends@friendsofcomanchelookout.info.
