Our second annual Neighbors Together was a big success with dozens of the library patrons and neighbors coming for our annual Giant Marshmallow Roast and White Elephant Give-Away.

  

A big THANK YOU to SAWS  (bags and water bottles), CPS Energy (flashlights), and the City Office of Sustainability (car sunshades, nylon lunchbags and backpacks!) for contributing hundreds of items 

  

 

 

The Giant Marshmallow roast exploded into a S'Mores Kitchen thanks to an anonymous chocolate and graham cracker donor:

Preparation for the event takes weeks.  The final push was the SANT Kickoff Festival on Saturday, September 30th.
